The Kajang chapter was started in 1989 at the request of Swami Sivananda. The Inaugral Pooja was held at Sri Subramani Temple, Kajang. Srimathi Rukumani Krishnan, an ardent devote of Swamiji from Ipoh, Malaysia conmducted the pooja. The intial organisers were Mrs Vamathevan, Mrs Durairaj, Dr Rajalatchemy, Mrs Muniandy. The gathering received good response and subsequently each full moon day, poojas are conducted. The society was registered in 1991 and was functioning from rented premises initially. On 22-2-2004, we moved into our own premises. The current prayer hall is on a shoplot covering an area of 1680square feet. We have a small hall, meeting room,small liabrary, kitchen and other facilities. The centre is fully equiped with audivideo facilities.
